This year seems to be very busy and fast so I wanted to keep my Christmas decorating simple this year. I seem to be in my kitchen a lot so I knew I needed to make it feel festive with a pop of Christmas.

I added a very cute Santa from Home Goods on my counter in front of a cypress tree.

I wanted to incorporate some vintage decor to match the Vintage Santa’s in my living room. This light up vintage Santa head was the perfect decoration.

I added a fun tree sign that we created here at The Shabby Tree.

We created a fun rag tree on a Dollar Tree platter that I tucked in the corner of my counter. The light up glass trees from Home Goods make it all pop at night.

I added a candle and a snowman grater on my noodle board that sits on my stove. You can see how we made the snowman grater by clicking the link down below.

I decided to hang a few wreaths on my cabinets this year. These wreaths really gave the kitchen a festive Christmas feel.

The wreaths that I hung are really a candle ring. You can find the candle ring on our website by clicking the link down below.

I used a red ribbon from Walmart and a small clear command hook to hang the wreaths.

I hope this inspires you to have fun when decorating and add things that make you happy.
