I recently found some amazing Easter items in my Dollar Tree Plus. They have a bunny wreath that I just had to have. This wreath looks great as is but I want to give it a quick and simple makeover.

I want to give this wreath a little makeover to help it stand out on my mantel this year for Spring.

I’ll be using wire cutters, lace, hot glue and scissors.

I used wire cutters to remove the chicken wire from the ears.

Once I had the chicken wire removed I then flipped the wreath over to add the lace.

I started with the ears and added the hot glue to the grapevine and then placed the lace on top.

I added the lace to the entire back side of the wreath. I’m using an old lace curtain that coffee stained.

Once I had the lace glued in place I then trimmed the excess lace off going around the entire wreath.

You can use any type of lace or fabric for this makeover. I love using old lace curtains for a lot of my makeovers. You can see how I coffee stain my lace by clicking the link down below.

I love the simple look of this wreath and decided that I don’t want to add anything else. This wreath is going to look amazing on mantel mixed in with some of my lace eggs. I hope this will inspire you to get creative and fun changing things up.
