Easter is quickly approaching and I want to make a pretty cross to put in my dining room. I thought we can easily make a cross using some Sculpey Air Dry clay.

I’ll be using a wooden cross from the Dollar Tree to make this quick and easy.

The first step is to cover the entire cross with the Sculpey Air Dry clay.

I decided to add some angel wings and hydrangeas to the cross. You can use silicone molds for this part.
You can find this mold on Amazon by clicking my referral link down below.

You’ll want to use water to smooth out the clay and help attach it to the cross. Once you have the cross finished you’ll want to let it dry for a day or two.

Once my cross was dry I decided to use water color paint on it.

Once I had the water color added I decided to add some Antique Gold Rub’n buff.

The last step is to add a bling embellishment to the center.

I used some hot glue and E6000 glue to attach the bling.

This cross turned out amazing and I hope you’ll give it a try.

It turned out very pretty. Love it
So pretty Barb !!!!
I love the craft but think I liked it better white not liking the water color paint but that’s just me. Also love the idea of wings but feel like those are too small. I love your crafts and The Shabby Tree !
I love the cross with the hydrangea but not liking the wings on the cross. Would like just the bling! The wings look like a mustache! Just not working for me. Everything else is awesome!
Not a fan of that particular bling
Hey Barb, I watched your live when you made this cross. Loving the gold rub & buff you added to complete the final touch.
Barb, I remember when you made this cross and Wow it turned out amazing.
