I have done a few DIY’s using coco liners from the Dollar Tree and I just love how easy they are to work with. I have been decorating my porch with a variety of flowers that we have been making here at The Shabby Tree. You are going to just love how easy it is to create an amazing rose using one coco liner. I love these because they can handle the weather outside.

The supplies you will need are:

1. Coco Liner

2. Glue gun (I like the gorilla glue sticks)

3. Scissors

4. Pruners

5. Tree limb

The first step is to cut your coco liner.

You want to cut your coco liner in a spiral form.

You now need to start wrapping your coco liner. You will be using a lot of glue for this.

You will start wrapping with the end where you first started cutting.

You will add glue and start wrapping. You will want to keep adding glue as you wrap.

Be sure to keep the glue on the bottom end of the coco liner as you wrap.

Once I get towards the very end I flip to the back side and added more glue.

You will continue wrapping the end but leave an opening to add your stick and glue.

Once your stick is in place you will want to finish wrapping the rest of the coco liner.

Once your stick is in place you will want to finish wrapping the rest of the coco liner.

These turn out so cute and are so easy to make. I hope you will all get creative and give these a try. I am going to add a few of these to my trees on my front porch but they would look amazing in a vase with some greenery.

You can get creative and paint your roses.

I’m going to paint a few with a cream paint to match my other cream flowers on my porch.
