Ok everyone there seems to be a lot of pool noodles in the stores right now. We have created a few items using pool noodles but we are going to get creative with them again. I recently bought a bunch of pool noodles from the Dollar Tree and we are going to use two of them to create a faux wagon wheel.

The supplies I will be using are:

1. Two pool noodles from the Dollar Tree

2. Jumbo kabob sticks from the Dollar Tree

3. Hot glue

4. Scissors

5. One sheet of foam board from the Dollar Tree

6. Duct Tape 6.PVC pipe that is 3/4”(optional)

7. Sanding sponge

8. Spray paint (I am using the color satin espresso)

9. Paper plate and ribbon spool for a pattern for round disk

The first step is to attach the two pool noodles together.

I cut two small pieces of the pvc pipe to help attach the pool noodles together.

I inserted the pvc pipe into the hole in the pool noodle.

I attached both pool noodles onto the pvc pipe. I then used the duct tape to help hold them in place.

Once you have both pool noodles secured together you will then start adding the kabob sticks.

You will use 4 jumbo kabob sticks. The first two should form what looks like a cross.

I am sticking the kabob sticks into the foam circle as shown in photo above.

Once all 4 kabob sticks are inserted into the the foam wheel it should look like the above photo.

I then traced the paper plate and my ribbon spool onto the foam board twice.

Yow want 4 foam board circles. Two large and two small.

I used the sanding sponge to smooth out the edges of my circles.

You will use hot glue to attach the larger round circle onto the center of the kabob sticks.

You will need press down and hold this in place until the glue is completely dry.

You will add the other circle to the back side.

I then glued the smaller circle onto the center of the larger circle.

Once my wheel was complete I then sprayed on the espresso spray paint.

This is so easy to create and will look amazing on your porch or in your yard. I hope you will get creative and give this a try.
