Fall is right around the corner and I am ready to start creating some fun and unique pumpkins. I have been seeing a lot of wooden pumpkins and I just knew we could easily create a few faux wooden pumpkins. We have been using a lot if foam board here at The Shabby Tree and it is so easy to get creative with. We can use foam board and peel and stick wallpaper to create some fun faux wooden pumpkins.

The supplies I will be using are:

1. Foam board from the Dollar Tree

2. Peel and stick wallpaper that is a wood print (I got this from Amazon)

3. Hot glue

4. Box cutter

5. Scissors

6. Spanish moss

7. Nautical rope from the Dollar Tree

8. Marker

The first step is to draw your pumpkin onto the foam board. You can make your pumpkin as big or as small as you want.

Once you have your pumpkin drawn you will then use the box cutter to cut it out.

You will then trace the pumpkin onto the backside of the wallpaper.

It is time to attach the wallpaper to the pumpkin. I found it easier to start at the top of the pumpkin and pull the back of the wallpaper off as you work your way down the pumpkin.

Be sure to use your hand and smooth out the wall paper so that you don’t get any bubbles.

Once you have the wallpaper on the pumpkin you will then hot glue the nautical rope around the stem.

I started on the back side and added hot glue as I continued to wrap the nautical rope around the stem.

Once the stem was covered I then glued nautical rope around the outer edge of the pumpkin.

The last step is to glue some Spanish moss to the top.

These pumpkins are so easy to make and they will look great any where in your home. I hope you will get creative and give these a try.
