I love Christmas and I love the Grinch. You can find a lot of Grinch decorations in the stores right now but I don’t seem to see any type of Grinch jewelry. We will be having a Grinch day at The Shabby Tree and I wanted to come up with a way to make a Grinch necklace.

The supplies I will be using are:

1. Grinch wrapping paper from the Dollar Tree

2. One stainless steel spoon

3. Mod podge

4. Dremel

5. Paint brush

6. Scissors

7. Needle nose pliers

8. Ball chain

The first step is to cut the handle if the spoon off with a dremel. You will want to leave about one inch to 1 1/2 inches of the handle. This is the part that you will bend to loop the chain through.

You can cut more of the handle off to create a smaller loop.
You can use a hammer to tap the loop flush to the spoon.
You will cut the Grinch image from the wrapping paper.
Place mod podge onto the spoon.
Add the paper image and then more mod podge.
I sprinkled some glitter over the mod podge. I was going to add some bling embellishments but I decided to leave it as is.
This is so easy to make and you can use any prints that you want. I hope you will get creative and give this a try.
