I have been buying the tumbling tower game from the Dollar Tree to get creative with. We have made a few things in the past from this game but I have been wanting to try and create a heart. These will not make the perfect shape heart but I do believe we can create a fun and unique heart for a decoration.

The supplies I will be using are:

1. Tumbling tower game from the Dollar Tree

2. Hot glue

3. Paint brush

4. Cream colored chalk paint by DecoArt

5. Oak colored gel stain by DecoArt

6. Tinsel ( optional)

7. Sanding sponge (optional)

I will be using a total of 32 pieces of the tumbling game for this decorative heart.

The first step is to create 5 rows of 4. I found it easier to glue my pieces together first to form the 5 rows.

Once I had the 5 rows formed I then glued the rows together as shown in photos below.

Once I had the center rows glued together I then created 2 rows of 3. You will also create 2 rows of 2 and then 2 rows of 1.

Once I had all of the rows glued together I then added the gel stain.

Once the gel stain was dry I then used the cream colored chalk paint to create a heart .

I used a sanding block to give the heart a more rustic look.

You can glue some tinsel to the top to create a hanger.

This heart is very easy to make and can be placed any where in your home. I hope you will get creative and give this a try.
