I have been trying to change up a few items in my home and I thought It would be fun to create a small decorative lamp. We always try to make fun and unique items here at The Shabby Tree. This lamp will be very easy to make and is definitely unique.

The supplies that I’ll be using are:

1. Four art canvases ( mine are from Hobby Lobby and they are an 8×10 inch )

2. One 8×10 inch cardboard canvas from the Dollar Tree.

3. Scissors

4. An old lace curtain or piece of lace ( mine is 48 x 12 in)

5. Cream colored chalky finish paint

6. Hot glue

7. E6000 glue

8. Paint brush

9. One 12 inch metal candle holder from our website

The first step is to remove the canvas from all four frames.

Once you have all of the canvas removed from all four frames you’ll then glue the frames together.

You’ll add hot glue to the ends of the frames as shown in photo above.

I added extra hot glue to the inside once the frames were glued together.

The next step is to paint the frames.

I used a cream colored chalky finish paint. You can paint this lamp any color that you want.

Once you have the frames painted it is time to add your lace. I cut a strip from an old lace curtain.

You’ll add hot glue to the edge of the frames as you wrap the lace around the frames.

You can cut off any excess lace that is hanging off of the edge.

You’ll want to cut the cardboard canvas to slide down into the edge of the frames.

I added some E6000 glue and hot glue to hold the cardboard canvas in place.

I added some E6000 glue and hot glue to the top of the candle holder to hold the frame part onto the candle holder.

I added a battery operated candle to the lamp for right now. There is a battery operated light bulb that I just ordered from Amazon to add to this lamp.

You can find the link for the candle stick down below.
