We have recently been creating a lot of different items using rags strips from a Five Below rug. Fall is right around the corner which has me wanting to try and create a pumpkin out of these strips. I know there are many ways that we can create a pumpkin but I think I have a way that everyone will be able to give this a try. The main supply I will be using are strips of fabric from the Five Below rug. If you can’t find the rug you can always just rip strips of fabric.

The supplies are:

1. Strips of fabric

2. Paper lunch bags

3. Scissors

4. Hot glue

5. Polyfill stuffing

6. Twine

I doubled layered two lunch bags and then added the stuffing.

You will fill the bags as much as you want to create the size pumpkin that you want. You will use the twine to tie the bag closed and then cut the remaining twine.

I then added the first four strips of fabric. I started the strip at the top of the pumpkin and then ended the strip at the bottom center of the pumpkin. It is best to add the four strips first and have each strip across from each other.

I then added four more strips in between each of those strips.

I ended the strips all together at the bottom center of the pumpkin.

I cut strips from another lunch bag and then twisted each strip.

I added hot glue to the top of the pumpkin and then started wrapping the bag strips.

This pumpkin is so easy to create and I hope you will give it a try.
