It is now summer and I wanted something cute to wear on my feet when I am hanging out at home. I wanted to create some type of cute shabby chic slippers and The Dollar Tree has some plain whole slippers that I thought would be perfect for this DIY!
The supplies you will need are:
1. A pair of slippers (I bought these from the Dollar Tree)
2. Surebonder fabric glue
3. Doilies and bling
These slippers from the Dollar Tree work perfect for this DIY.
I am using some doilies that my mother in law crocheted for me.
You will need to add the surebonder glue to the back side of the doily.
I then add a smaller white doily on top.
I then add some bling embellishments to the very top.
You can find a variety of bling embellishments in Hobby Lobby.
I love how my slippers turned out and I hope this will inspire you to get creative. You can make these slippers in so many different ways.
