Doll Head Makeover

by blewis | Feb 9, 2025 | Everyday DIY, Home Decor | 7 comments

I was recently in my local Dollar General walking up and down all of the isles. They have a variety of toys and I came across a doll head that I just had to buy. This doll head can be turned i to a fun and unique home decor item.
This will be a very easy makeover and you can find the list of supplies that I’ll be using down below.
1. Metallic Gold spray paint
2. Spanish moss
3. Flowers from Dollar General
4. Hot glue
The first step is to cut the hair off of the doll head and then spray paint the doll head.
Once the spray paint is dry you’ll then glue the Spanish moss to the doll head.
Once the Spanish moss is glued on you’ll then glue the flowers onto the Spanish moss.
I purchased this bouquet of flowers from Dollar General for $5.00. You’ll want to remove the flowers from the stems and then glue the flowers onto the doll head.
I used 5 flowers on the head.
I spray painted some daisies and added some bling. These look very cute glued to the base of the doll head.
I added some earrings to her ears. I made two heads using different flowers on each head.
These turned out amazing and were so quick and easy to make. I hope you’ll get creative and give this makeover a try.
