I was in the Dollar Tree and ended up buying a few packs of their spoons. We have made some fun spoon necklaces in the past but I thought it would be fun to turn a few spoons into fun Halloween ornaments.

The spoons from the Dollar Tree come as a pack of three.

The supplies that I’ll be using for these ornaments are:

1. One pack of spoons from the Dollar Tree.

2. Paint brushes

3. Americana acrylic paint by DecoArt ( Leaf Green, Warm White, Spiced Pumpkin, and Lamp Black)

4. Elmer’s glue

5. Fine pearl glitter

Once I had my spoons bent I then painted them. I’ll be painting a pumpkin, ghost and a frankenstein.

I gave each spoon one coat of paint and then let them dry. Once the first coat was dry I then gave each spoon a second a coat.

Once the second coat was dry I then painted on the faces.

Once the faces dried I then decided to add some glitter.

I’m using a fine pearl glitter from 143 vinyl. You can find the glitter by clicking my referral link down below.

I gave each spoon a light coat of Elmer’s glue and then sprinkled on the glitter.

These are so easy to make and they look amazing on a small tree. I hope you get creative and give these fun ornaments a try.
