It’s summer and I know a lot of people will be going to the beach. It seems like everyone likes to collect some seashells on their trip. I thought it would be fun to get creative with a few seashells and create a fun and very easy decoration.

The supplies that I’ll be using are:

1. One piece of wood from Hobby Lobby

2. Seashells

3. Some sticks from the yard

4. Spanish moss

5. Hot glue

6. Glass gems from the Dollar Tree

I’ll be using only one white glass gem for this craft. You can always use a small rock or button in place of the gem.

I’ll be using a total of eight shells for this particular craft.

The first step is to use a small stick to create the stem to a flower.

You’ll want to add some hot glue and then add some Spanish moss as shown in photo above.

The next step is to create a flower using four seashells.

You’ll add some hot glue under each sea shell.

Once you have the flower created you’ll then add the glass gem to the center as shown in photo above.

The next step is to cut a small stick to create the center of a butterfly.

Once you have the stick glued in place you’ll then glue on two seashells for the wings.

I created two butterflies above the flower.

This was so quick and easy to make. It’s a fun way to display some seashells that you might bring back from the beach. I hope you’ll get creative and give this a try.
