I found myself in Target today and of course I had to check out the Dollar Spot. They had a cute ornament board for $5.00 that I had to get. I want to do a simple makeover over to the ornament board to use it as a decoration.
The supplies that I’ll be using are:
1. One ornament board from Target
2. Decoupage
3. Scrapbook paper from Walmart
4. Paint brush
5. Gold fine glitter
6. Scissors
You can find this ornament board in Target in their Dollar spot.
I will be using this Santa print paper from the book I purchased in Walmart.
I traced the ornament onto the paper and then cut it out.
I want this to set on the inside of the ornament so I’ll need to cut more off.
I placed the paper onto the ornament and used my finger to rub along the inner edge of the ornament.
Once I had the paper cut to size I then added decoupage to the ornament.
I paced the paper over the decoupage and then added more decoupage.
I added decoupage to the top and onto the outer edge.
Once I had the decoupage on I then sprinkled on the gold glitter.
This was very easy to make and will look great added to my Christmas decorations. I hope this will inspire you to have fun and get creative.
