I found a wooden truck plaque at Walmart that can be used for so many craft ideas. I knew as soon as I saw it that we could make an amazing decoration out of it. I recently made some fun felt flowers that will look amazing added to this truck. I really wanted to add color to this truck but I want it to have a vintage look. DecoArt has a product called Vintage Effect Wash that will work perfect for the look I am trying to achieve.

The first step is to paint the truck. I will be painting one side the color patina and the other side pink. You can find Vintage Effects Wash in Michael’s and on DecoArts website.
You will paint the color onto the wood and wipe the excess off until you have the look you want.
Once I had both sides of the truck painted I then added the felt flowers to the back.
I added hot glue to the back of the flowers and glued them in place.
This truck turned out so cute and I just love how the Vintage Effects Wash allows the grain of the wood to show through the color.
