If you’re following The Shabby Tree then you know how much I love battery operated candles. We have a few battery operated timer tapers on our website that I want to create a few holders for. I think we can create a variety of holders very quick and easy.

The supplies that I’ll be using are very simple. You will need to get a few different rolls of ribbon and some paints. These can be created for different holidays and for all year long.

I will be painting each roll of ribbon a color that matches the color of ribbon.

I’m not removing the ribbon so I pushed down onto the ribbon to paint under the top pieceof the spool.

There are so many different ways to get creative with this. You can add some small candle rings to the top. You can find the link to the candle ring shown above down below.

The spool of ribbon already has a hole in the center that the candle can be placed into.

I twisted some of the orange burlap ribbon to give it a fun and unique look. I tried to give this one a pumpkin look.

I painted the burlap ribbon on the one shown above with candy corn colors. The candy corn timer taper was on our website.

There are so many different spools of ribbon in the stores that have a variety of colors or prints to them.

These are very easy to make and turn out to be a fun and unique candle holder.

I hope you will get creative and give this a try.
