Christmas is right around the corner and I always like to add some fun hang tags to my trees and gifts. We’ve made a variety of paper hang tags here at The Shabby Tree but I thought it would be fun to make a fabric hang tag.

The supplies that I’ll be using are:

1. Muslin material

2. Paper napkin from European Excellency

3. Mod Podge for fabric

4. Scissors

5. Paint brush

6. Tinsel

You’ll cut the fabric any size and shape that you want.

Once you have the fabric cut you’ll then want to cut the napkin. Be sure to remove the back sheets off of the napkin.

I traced my fabric piece onto the napkin and then cut it out.

You’ll want to add some of the mod podge onto the fabric and then place the napkin on top. Once you have the napkin on top you’ll then add more mod podge.

I decided to sprinkle a little silver glitter around the edges.

I used 2 different napkins from European Excellency. You can click the link below to check them out and be sure to use code Barb for a discount.

This hang tag is so easy to make and will look great in a gift or hanging on your tree. I hope you’ll get creative and give this a try.
