We are always crafting here at The Shabby Tree and we are always trying to create fun and unique items. I was recently coloring paint rollers for a pumpkin craft and our followers thought it would be fun to create a candle out of them. This seems very easy to create and will make a fun decoration in your home.

The supplies I will be using are:

1. Long wool roller

2. Orange paint

3. Cinnamon

4. Imitation vanilla

5. Hex saw

6. Scissors

7. Bucket with warm water

8. Maple colored gel stain by DecoArt

9. Battery operated tea light

10. Brown paper

The first step is to use the hex saw to cut the roller to the size candle you will want. This is very easy to cut and you can make 2 candles from one roller.

I then mixed the paint, cinnamon and vanilla into the water. You will add as much paint as you want to the water. I don’t really measure any of it I just add how much I want.

You will dip the rollers into the mixture. I like to add more paint onto the roller to give it a darker shade.

You can add more cinnamon and vanilla as you go.

I colored a variety of paint rollers and some will be used to create pumpkins. The long wool paint rollers as shown in photo above will be used to create candles. I will add the orange paint and gel stain to the battery operated tea light.

I added brown paper up into the paint roller. The brown paper will prevent the battery operated tea light from slipping down.

This candle is so easy to create and looks so cute in a small cast iron pan. You can place this any where in your home for a fun decoration. I hope you will get creative and give this a try.
