Ok I found myself walking around the Dollar Tree and their artificial flowers caught my eye. They have some pretty Spring flowers and I just love all of the colors. I thought it would fun to turn some of the flowers into flower balls. These flower balls will look amazing on my two tiered tray or displayed on my fireplace mantel.

The supplies I will be using are :

1. Artificial flower bush from the Dollar Tree ( I will be using 6 bushes for one ball)

2. Styrofoam ball ( my ball is 3.8 in)

3. Wire cutters

4. Paint to match the color of my flowers

5. Paint brush

I first painted my styrofoam ball to match the color of my flowers.

Once I had the styrofoam ball painted I then cut my flower stems.

I removed the green leaf from the stem because it allowed my flower to slide in closer to the styrofoam.

It took 6 bushes of flowers to completely cover the styrofoam ball.

You can make these in a variety of colors and sizes.

These are so easy to make and there are so many different ways to incorporate them into your Spring decor. I hope you will get creative and give these a try.
