I was on Amazon and I came across these half wooden balls. They are available in all sizes and I just knew I had to order some. I have used wooden beads in projects before but I feel like we are going to be able to make a lot of things with these half wooden balls. Since Valentine’s Day is right around the corner I want to first try and make a heart with these half wooden balls.

A few other supplies I will be using are:
1. A wire jute (I got this from Hobby Lobby)
2. Wire cutters
3. Hot glue
4. Ribbon and scissors
The first step is to form your heart out of the wire jute.
I made a circle and left a long piece to form a hanger for the heart. You will wrap one end of the wire jute around the center section of the piece of jute to form a circle. Leave the excess end of the wire jute to form the hanger for the heart.
Once I formed the heart I then brought the other end of the jute down to form a hanger. Wrap the end in the center to secure it in place.
I place hot glue on the back side of the wooden balls and then glued them onto the heart.
You will continue glueing on the half wooden balls until the heart is complete.
I cut two pieces of ribbon and tied them around the top of the heart.
I hope you will all get creative and give this a try. These half wooden balls can be glued to almost anything. This heart was fun and easy to make and will look amazing on your Valentine tree. These hearts are great to add to a wreath or hang on your fireplace mantle.
