DIY Hang Tags With Fun Messages

I recently bought a few new stampers and a scalloped tag puncher from Hobby Lobby. We are always creating fun and unique items here at The Shabby Tree and I thought it would be fun to create a few fun message hang tags. I will be showing you a few of the new stampers that I purchased and how I will be using them to create a fun message tag.

You can find a variety of stampers in Hobby Lobby and here are a few of the ones that I recently purchased.

The small packs of printed clothespins are from Walmart.

The scallop tag puncher is from Hobby Lobby. This is very easy to use and makes a fun and easy hang tag.

I cut a variety of strips of a cream colored card stock paper. My strips measure from 1 1/2 inches to 2 1/2 inches wide.

I created some tags with the tag puncher and some without.

I was very excited to find this fun typewriter stamper. This makes for a fun and unique way to create a message tag.

I wanted to try something different so I decided to glue the small decorative clothespins to the front of the tag.

This allows me to clip the tag to my tree or garland but still allows me to see the decorative clothespin. We have used clothespins before on hang tags but I usually glue them to the back side.

Being creative is about having fun and trying new things.

I had fun creating these tags and I just wanted to show you how easy it was to create them. It is always fun to find new items to experiment with and the scallop tag puncher was mine for today. I hope this will inspire you to have fun and find new items to get creative with.
