Christmas is quickly approaching and it is time to start thinking about your decorations. When I decorate for Christmas I always love adding a variety of snowmen throughout my house. We are always trying to create unique items here at The Shabby Tree and I know we can create a unique snowman out of a paint roller.

The supplies I will be using are:

1. One paint roller ( I am using a 3/4” wool roller)

2. Hot glue 3. One piece of red felt

4. One black sock ( I got my socks from the Dollar Tree)

5. Scissors

6. Two sticks for arms

7. Black paint 8. Paint brush

9. Orange paint

10. Six black buttons

The first step is to create the hat for your snowman.

I will be using one sock for the hat. You will want to cut your sock as shown in photo below.

I cut strips at the one end of the sock.

The other end you will fold up.

You will cut one more strip off the remaining piece of sock as shown in photo above.

You will wrap this strip around the top section if the sock and tie a double knot.

You will cut a strip of the red felt to create the scarf for your snowman.

Once the scarf is in place you will then glue on the buttons for the eyes.

You will add hot glue to the end of the sticks to glue in place for arms.

They stay in place better if you pinch the roller around the stick.

I glued the remaining buttons in place.
I trimmed a piece of the stick to create a nose.
I glued the nose in place and added some black paint for the mouth.

You can place a little greenery in the hat. This snowman is so quick and easy to make and I hope you will all give it a try.
