Ok so if you’re following The Shabby Tree then you all know I found this round piece of wood in Home Depot that I seem to be obsessed with. This piece of wood is almost 18 inches wide and it is only $9.00. We have been making a few different items with this piece of wood but right now I am going to show you how easy it is to turn it into a small table.

The supplies I will be using are:

1. One small antique wooden ladder

2. Round piece of wood from Home Depot

3. Gorilla wood glue

4. Cream chalk paint by DecoArt

5. Waverly antique wax from Walmart

6. Paint brush

7. Two finishing nails

8. Hammer

You will find this round piece of wood in Home Depot by all of the unfinished wood.

The first thing I did was paint the whole piece of wood using a cream chalk paint by DecoArt.

Once the chalk paint was dry I then used a rag to wipe on some of the Waverly antique wax.

I did not want to completely cover all of the cream paint.

I will be using an antique wooden ladder for the base of my table. You need to get creative and see what you have that can be turned into a table by adding this piece of wood to the top. My next table might be created by using the bottom part of an old chair. I added the gorilla wood glue to the top part of the ladder.

I placed the wooden circle piece onto the top of the ladder.

I nailed two finishing nails down into the top of the wood at both ends. The nails will help to hold the wood down in place why the glue dries.

This was so quick and easy to make and it will look so cute on my front porch. I hope you will all get creative and have fun creating a unique table.
