We are huge crafters here at The Shabby Tree and we use a lot of twine for our DIY’s. I was putting laundry away and realized that I have a lot of wooden hangers and I knew we could come up with some creative ways to use them. It is very easy to turn a wooden hanger into a simple twine holder.

The only supplies you need for this DIY are:

1. A wooden hanger that has a movable wooden bar

2. Wire cutters

3. Rolls of twine

You will need to cut the wire bar that goes across the hanger. I am using basic wire cutters.

You need to cut the wire bar so that you will be able to hook the wooden bar closed once your rolls of twine are on.

You will slide the rolls of twine into the wooden bar.

The wooden bar then sets back onto the wire hook.

This is such a quick and simple twine holder to make. I hope you will all get creative and give it a try.
