Hi you guys if you’re following The Shabby Tree then you all know that I love lights and trees. I keep a bunch of different size trees on my porch throughout the year and decorate my porch as if it were another room in my home. I love to make my porch a comfortable and cozy place to sit and hangout. For this blog post I wanted to show you all how I decorated my front porch for the holidays so keep scrolling to check it out!

This is the wreath you always see hung on my front door and all I do is change out my chalkboard message for each occasion.

Around my front door I always keep greenery and twinkle lights and add decorations for each holiday.

I have been doing an angel theme on my front porch and knew I wanted to have these handmade wooden angels (I purchased these from a local crafter) somewhere on my porch. I placed them on top of a cabinet and added a small tree with lights and handmade ornaments. The ornamnets on this tree are the DIY handmade frame ornaments we made here at The Shabby Tree.

Here, on a different cabinet near the front door I placed our lampshade tree that we made here at The Shabby Tree. We also added a tree with the Dollar Tree snowflake candy dish ornaments.

Hanging on the porch are my DIY holiday hanging baskets that I change out for the seasons. For the holiday season I placed our DIY colander ornamnets inside.

For this angel I transformed our DIY pumpkin ghost girl we did for halloween into an angel.

For a statement piece I added our large DIY plastic hanger snowflake that we made here at The Shabby Tree.

I also placed lanters with battery operated candles throughout my porch. Here I have two lanters of different sizes and a crock filled with flocked greenery placed on my porch steps.

I also have grapevine snowflakes hanging from the ceiling.

I like to add handmade banners around my porch windows.

I hope you all enjoyed this short tour of how I decorate my porch for the holidays! I also hope that I’ve inspired you to keep at least some small decorations on your porch!
